*Boys Town is now called Girls and Boys Town.
*Maps for a drive through tour of the village are available in the Visitors’ Center.
*There is a 3 acre section, the Garden of the Bible, where you can walk the paths, see the flowers, sit quietly, or have a picnic.
*The Hall of History is a museum that is in what use to be the dining hall. It contains information and items to do with the history of Boys’ Town, Father Flanagan, and the movie that was made about Boys Town.
*You can visit the Father Flanagan House museum. This is where he lived until 1941. There is a statue of him out front. Also notice the 22 bed rose garden. The children of Boys Town take care of this garden.
*Father Flanagan is buried here. His tomb is to the west side of Dowd Chapel.
*There is a stamp museum inside the Visitors Center. This is where you can see the world’s largest ball of stamps.
*There is a gift shop in the Visitor’s Center.
