NOTES:
*They only accept cash or checks for admission.
*Go early in the day because it does get hot.
*I suggest carrying water with you; as I said it gets hot.
*While I say it can get hot, this is at high elevation so the temperature can also drop making it rather cold at times.
*Check at the bookstore for information about daily tours.
*Flush toilet restrooms are in the parking lot & the picnic area.
*You are not allowed to pick up & remove anything from this location (I believe it is illegal – this includes small things like rocks, etc).
*This is a ghost town so there are not any gas stations or restaurants; fill up your gas tank & eat before you get here.
*You will drive on some unpaved dirt roads on part of the trip to get here.
*Yes, some people say some parts of Bodie are haunted; some also believe there is a curse associated with removing anything from this location
