NOTES:
*With a tour, you get a free gold ore specimen that has gold in it.
*Doors may open about a half hour before listed time above.
*Tours start about every half hour or every hour, depending on the time of year.
*Remember this is at high altitude.
*At the beginning of the tour you do go down rather quickly about a 1000 feet in altitude into the mine & back up at the end just as quickly, so be sure you are physically up to that.
*The mine elevator is small & may be uncomfortable for someone who is claustrophobic.
*Wear comfortable, closed toe shoes.
*It does get chilly in the mine.
