Interesting event focused around cooking the world’s largest fried onion hamburger; El Reno Fried Onion Burger Day. Started in 1989. Variety of activities were offered during the 2012 festivities such as burger eating contest, car show, live music entertainment, & hula hoop contest.
It is my understanding the burger ends up weighing 750 pounds. It is divided up & given out to the crowd for free 🙂
