From my understanding, the Mount Hollywood Tunnel was used in various Hollywood scenes:
1.episode that Marissa Cooper dies on the “O.C.” – they drive through the tunnel just before the crash;
This tunnel was also used in a few movies:
2.entrance to Toontown in “Who Framed Rodger Rabbit”;
3.tunnel chase scene between Marty & Biff in “Back to the Future 2”;
4.the entrance to NORAD in “War Games”;
5.scene where Nancy is almost hit by a vehicle in “Nancy Drew”

the tunnel is on Vermont Ave (Vermont Canyon Rd); north of Griffith Park Observatory
directions to the tunnel I have found:
North Vermont Canyon Rd & that changes to Mt. Hollywood Dr.
