NOTES:
*Tours last approximately 60-75 minutes.
*Tours start approximately every 30-45 minutes.
*Guided tours are given from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You need to arrive no later than 3:45 p.m. for the last daily tour.
*Yes, you can take photos.
*Wear closed toe, comfortable shoes.
*No outside food or drinks; except bottled water.
*Bottled water is advisable to bring with you since it can get hot & humid in some areas.
*Tour involves 150 stairs, standing, uneven ground, walking just under a mile, areas of low clearance, and temperatures that can vary from cool to hot & humid in various areas.
*Children cannot be carried on your back. Front baby slings & carriers are okay.
*You cannot use a stroller on the tour.
*Under the glass tour is not wheelchair accessible. In some cases, they do offer a modified tour for non-ambulatory guests with a 5 day prior arrangement.
*The visitor center, most of the Biosphere 2 grounds, & the human habitat are wheelchair accessible.
*Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas.
