I-90 eastbound – (near Salem, SD): Large Framework TeePee (Tipi) at Rest Area

Rest area has a structure that consists of 8 large concrete pillars used to form the framework of a tee pee (or tipi). Stands about 56 feet high. Look at the base of the pillars for symbols of the Lakota Nation. Found along I-90 when traveling eastbound
