New Ulm’s carillon clock tower has a glockenspiel . The bells chime in Westminster style on the hour throughout the day. Special programmed music plays at noon, 3 & 5 p.m.. At those times, below the clock face you can watch three animated polka band figures perform. According to the New Ulm website, the polka figures are replaced with a nativity scene from Thanksgiving until early January.
