Not Going to Kick the Bucket; Have Fun & Live 2015 List

Do you have a bucket list? I do. Well, my version of a bucket list.

A bucket list is typically thought of as a list of things someone wants to do before they “kick the bucket”. Yes, a list of things someone wants to do before they die.

I do not have a bucket list like that. I have no desire to make one. Why? If I made a normal bucket list, with my luck, that would be the one thing I would complete! If I made one and completed it, the only thing left to do would be to kick the bucket. Since I have no desire to do that any time soon, I will not be making a typical bucket list. šŸ™‚

What I do have is a 2015 bucket list. It is a list of things that I would like to do during 2015.

It is partially a travel bucket list for the year. It is also a list that contains some things, that may seem small, but are things that just involve slowing down and taking in the moment. I think it’s good to remember to slow down and enjoy the little things; things we often take for granted.

While my list contains some things that would be first time experiences, it also has things that I have done before. There are things that I have enjoyed in the past but feel its been too long since I have done them.

With this list, I tried to keep it realistic. There are several travel / road trip related things and places I would like to add, but with keeping it realistic, I left them off of the list, for now. Right now I am not for sure how much I will be able to afford to be on the road. I shared a bit of this issue previously:

If I can connect with enough folks across the U.S. to make the cost of places to stay or even line up enough work, I will be adding several things to my list. But for now, I am not sure if my road trip path for the year would make these things I could do in 2015.

Who knows, maybe I will make a dream 2015 bucket list just for the fun of it! šŸ˜‰

Honestly, my list may not be complete. I’m very likely to think of more to add šŸ™‚
For now, here is my 2015 bucket list:

  1. milk a cow
  2. milk a goat
  3. pet a pig

  36. Stroll along a boardwalk
  37. visit Washington; the only state I haven’t been to out of the continental U.S. states (that is if you are of the school that counts theĀ continental states as 48 & does not include Alaska – Haven’t been to Alaska or Hawaii, either – Would be AWESOME to visit them!!!)
