NOTES:
*Tours are not recommended for children under 7 years of age.
*Admission sales end at 4:00 p.m.
*With admission you are loaned a mp3 player & headset for an audio tour.
*Children 7 to 12 years of age get a guide book that has a scavenger hunt inside.
*You can take pictures. They do require that you add a location credit ( “Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, PA”) to any picture taken that you publish online.
*You can see Al Capone’s cell.
*Wear comfortable shoes!
*They do not have a parking lot. There is a parking lot by the penitentiary that may cost approximately $3.00 to $10.00, depending on how long you park. There is also on street parking around the building, but be sure to pay attention to signs!
*There are people who believe this site is haunted.
