NOTES:
*This lighthouse is located within Fort Story military base so you have to go through security & need to have certain things such as: picture ID (everyone 16 & up – student ID or Federal issued), proof of vehicle insurance, & current vehicle registration.
*Residents of certain states must also have a passport if their ID is not the updated Real ID ACT compliant type. Check their website for more details.
*The lighthouse tower does close during certain types of extreme weather; such as heat index of 115 degrees, thunderstorms, or lightning.
